Working as part of the Design Team, SDH Engineering provides specialist consulting for DF+ Engenharia for the FEL-3  and implementation phase designs for the Maravilhas III Dam. The Maravilhas III Dam will receive tailings generated from VALE’s Vargem Grande and Pico Mining complexes. Stage I of the Maravilhas III dam has been constructed to a maximum height of 50m; Stage II has a planed maximum height of 80m. The dam is situated in a valley with a complex fault system requiring expert understanding of geology, dam design, and karst.
