SDH Engineering will recommend a preferred option for FEL3 design to expand the open pit operations at Casa Berardi Mine while also optimizing cost, schedule and risk to provide the best alternative for managing water.  We provide the geotechnical expertise to design controls to manage and limit seepage during the development of the new open pit, Principal Pit, in an area with glacial eskers. 3D groundwater modeling will be used to optimize dewatering strategies, considering advanced pumping systems and hydraulic barriers.
